Career Guidance Cell
The career guidance cell (CGC) aims to provide assistance and advice to students to make them informed about their future educational career choices. It would also help the students to realize their strengths and weaknesses by instilling our self awareness, decision making skills, planning skills, personality development etc..
OBJECTIVES
To conduct a survey among students on their career options.
To organize programmes to create awareness about the importance of higher studies in India and Abroad.
To organize coaching classes on CAT, TOEFL, GRE etc. towards higher studies.
To organize Training Programmes to enable students to showcase their skills during the competitive exams and interviews.
To provide available updated information about jobs /positions/opportunities/career options.
To provide necessary literature /brochure/information.
To mobilize resources for needy students to apply for jobs.
To gather and disseminate information on job avenues and placement in different institutions and concerns related to the courses that the college offers to interested students.
Organize seminars and guidance workshops by experts from the industry and institutions on Soft skills
Emerging professional trends and events, job profiles, leadership roles, entrepreneurship and career opportunities in different fields of study.
Creating awareness about the opportunities to pursue higher studies in India and abroad.
Maintaining record of all the activities and the outcome of each of them.
Preparing the database of the graduating students giving details about their educational qualification, career choices etc.,
Focus through Various clubs for Individual groups
The CGC also aims at providing individual focus for students with different line of interest after their under graduation. This would be made possible by forming different clubs based on the interest of the individual groups and their requirement. Some of the clubs, which belong to this category, are listed below

Government Sectors
Communication Club
Services
The Career Guidance Cell has to evaluate periodically the career information needs and demands of the student community.
It should provide career information and training program to the students.
Internet facility and free web access has to be given to the students
The bulletin board service needs to be made available and to be updated periodically.
Team up with other college career guidance cell and share information, sources and expertise.
