Awards and achievements by Faculty members
- Our Faculties have applied more project proposals from various government and non-Government agencies like AICTE, MHRD, CSIR, DST,TNSCST
- Received a grant of Rs.20, 000 from Tamil Nadu State Council for Science & Technology for student’s project.
- Ms.E.Vetreselvi AP/PCE has successfully completed NPTEL course in Unit Operations of Particulate matter and received Elite certificate
- Mr.A.S.A.Arun Prasad ASP/PCE has successfully completed NPTEL course in Unit Operations of Particulate matter
- Dr.R.Kannan HoD/PCE, Faculty mentor of the project team in IIT- PALS INNOWAH and bagged 3rd Prize at IIT Chennai.
- Mr.B.Vijaya kumar produced 100% result in Anna University Theory Examinations for the academic year Nov-Dec 2015, Nov-Dec 2016 and Nov-Dec 2017.
- Ms.R.Gengadevi produced 100% result in Anna University Theory Examinations for the academic year Nov-Dec 2018.
- Ms.B.Sindhu produced 100% result in Anna University Theory Examinations for the academic year Nov-Dec 2018 and Nov-Dec 2019.
- Mr.A.S.Arun Prasad produced 100% result in Anna University Theory Examinations for the academic year Nov-Dec 2019
- Our department faculty members have published 35 No’s of research articles and 4 No’s of Book chapters in PEER Journals as listed in Annexure I and II (CFR, Anna University).
- Our department faculty members have attended and presented research papers in 6 No’s of International conferences and 8 No’s of National conferences.
- Our department faculty members have attended 8 No’s of Faculty development programs, 10 No’s of seminars/workshops.
Awards and achievements by students
- In the academic year 2016-2017 two of our students named Ms.Silvya Anumegalai and Mr.K.Abigith received silver and Bronze medal from Anna University.
- Ms.Silya Anumegalai as awarded as best outgoing student for the batch 2013-2017.
- Mr.Mohammed Shahensha as awarded as best outgoing student for the batch 2014- 2018.
- In the academic year 2018-2019 three of our students named Mr.Gangadharan, Mr.Gokulnath and Mr.Sanjay received Silver and Bronze medal from Anna University.
- Our department students have attended and presented research papers in 20 No’s of International conferences and 160 No’s of National conferences.
- Our department students have attended 60 No’s of seminars/workshops and undergone 80 no’s of In-plant training and internship.
- Three of our student’s batch went to Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gujarat for carrying out their undergraduate project.
- Two of our final year student’s projects have been selected for TNSTC funded project scheme.
- Our student Mr.Rahul from third year-PCE bagged 3rd Prize in IIT- PALS INNOWAH at IIT Chennai.
- Our student Mr.PR . Sreejith Final year-PCE in the academic year 2018-2019 awarded for the successful completion of the tHINK cREATE eNGINEER , program conducted at IITM campus Chennai, sponsored by PALS and Aid Vision85.
- Two of our student Mr.Ajith Kumar.R and Nived MEnon.P of Third year PCE in the academic year 2019-2020 was awarded for the successful completion of the tHINK cREATE eNGINEER , program conducted at IITM campus Chennai, sponsored by PALS.
