The Central Placement Cell is made responsible for enhancing the employability skills of our students to transform themselves as a professional and enable them a deserving/better career start.
To ensure this the following strategies are being practiced.
The vision of placement cell is to increase the employability skills of our students at institutional and industrial level; to furnish our students with relevant and conceptualized professional skills and guiding them towards the bright future and career all around the globe with values of genuineness, hard work and justice.
Placement cell arranges and coordinates various programmes that aim at molding the students, so as to meet the industry expectations in career building.
The cell endeavors to carry out successfully all the processes methodically throughout the year.
The training and placement cell, guided by a set of rules and principles, strives to maintain good relationships with industries.
The responsibility of the placement cell is to prepare the requirement schedule for the year, inviting corporations for pre-placement talks on the campus followed by final placements and overseeing the process to its end.
Appropriate training methodologies are devised to enable students to enhance their skills and transform into professionals.
In-house and outsourced training are given to maximize the employability potential of the students.
Corporate relations with various organizations are developed to find probable employers and ensure a long-term valuable association is established.
An exhaustive database of major recruiters is created and maintained.
Periodic counseling of students is carried out to make them understand their strengths and guide them in their career building.
Constant and continuous mentoring of students is pursued to foster a holistic personality in them and equip them with a combination of various professional skills and value-based decision-making ability to meet the challenges of the knowledge era.
Students are updated with current trends prevailing in the industry, made to understand the expectations of the industry and their recruitment process, and provided timely information on placement-related activities.
This Placement endeavor is entrusted to the Dean - Placements team, helped by Faculty members and Student Placement coordinators in meeting the objectives.
